School of Rock

As a fellow business owner in Doylestown, I fully appreciate what School of Rock is doing for our community and their dedication and passion for teaching kids not only the fundamentals of music, but also the skill of performing. Over the years, I’ve witnessed or attended countless shows and performances they’ve been a part of or have put on and have seen a lot of these kids grow as musicians and I can’t wait to see where what they learned from School of Rock takes them. In addition to all that, they’ve also hosted some amazing workshops where their students were able to learn from and perform with internationally known artists - most recently Anthony Green (pictured), Sean Yseult of White Zombie, and Randy Blythe from Lamb of God.

My kids love School of Rock in Doylestown! My daughter has played drums for the past four years and her love for the learning style inspired my son to join and play the guitar! Since then both kids have had the opportunity to learn multiple instruments, perform in shows and learn about being a musician and all the factors that impact performance and love of music. Great environment, teachers and communication! The outcome, the shows are amazing, and fun to watch and be a part of. Great experience!

School of Rock has been a game changer for my kid. Excellent staff who is extremely supportive of all students and are excellent at keeping students engaged and challenged. Inclusive and welcoming environment.

School of Rock is a great music school for kids. The downtown team is so friendly and good with the kids. The kids in the program get to learn how to play their 1 or more rock instruments in a more practical setting, playing songs that are relevant to kids...not classical which has its place but is a turn off for most kids. The best part is they get to experience live performance with the other kids. The get to feel what it's like to be on stage playing like a rock star. This has been great for my daughter's confidence. She's been at it for 3+ years ow and still loves it.

The teachers are great with students! Espically love Fiona! They have a great way of connecting, and putting my shy child at ease. Very easy going, great communication, patient, kind, knowledgeable, makes learning fun! Rock 101 is a fantastic program as well! My child loves going to play as a band with other kids! He thinks he is a rock star! It’s a great program, that emphasizes fun, collaborating, a love of music, along with learning.During rock 101 kids,and teacher work together, they all learn something new each class. The school of rock is very much geared towards kids, everyone is very encouraging, kind, helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and loves music and children. This is a great place for kids to come and learn to play an instrument, while also learning about music in a very fun non traditional way. Also the music (School of Rock after all)is more fun for adults and kids alike!!!
